Karen is a director of Zook Dinon PA with a practice focused on tax accounting, compliance, and planning services for large corporations and small business clients. She brings value to the firm’s clients through more than thirty years of diversified professional experience. She is well versed in advising clients regarding accounting for uncertain tax positions, SEC reporting and disclosures, tax-basis balance sheet support, stock-based compensation, acquisitions, and restatements. Her practice includes providing tax accounting services to medium and large-size multinational companies. In connection with the same, she has extensive experience with tax provision outsourcing, oversight and support.
Prior to joining Zook Dinon in 2004, Karen was a manager in the Business Compliance Services tax practice of PricewaterhouseCoopers, LLP’s Philadelphia office. She started her career on the audit staff of Deloitte (formerly Touche Ross) in Philadelphia and has held positions in internal audit and corporate taxation.
Karen is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in Pennsylvania and Michigan. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants, and the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Karen graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania in 1985.
