Andy is a director of the firm, having been with Zook Dinon PA since 1993.  He provides interim or part-time CFO and controllership services and has worked with clients in the manufacturing, distribution, service, and private equity industries.  He also has experience with IT systems, networking, and security and leads Zook Dinon’s IT initiatives and provides related advice to existing clients.  By utilizing experience in both CFO and IT roles, he assists clients in areas such as the selection and integration of new ERP systems.

In addition, Andy’s work involves enhancing a company’s existing (and sometimes understaffed) accounting department by producing financial information on a timely basis; offering advice for handling the accounting of transactions; and providing company snapshot data, sales and customer analyses, revenue and expense trends, breakeven analyses, and other reports to company owners to help them better manage their businesses.  Andy identifies company inefficiencies and interfaces with other company departments to correct and improve processes.  To that end, Andy is proficient in generating Crystal Reports, which enables companies to analyze various internal data so as to increase company productivity and efficacy.

Aside from these primary practice areas, Andy’s work also incorporates non-traditional engagements.  He develops complex business models ranging from forecasts and multi-scenario projections to cash, debt, and receivable management tools for clients, and performs economic analyses for publicly held clients.  He also performs agreed-upon procedure engagements assisting clients to satisfy compliance requirements.

He practices in the business assurance department, with a specialization in distribution and manufacturing. In those areas, Andy performs reviews and compilations of historical financial statements for the firm’s business entity clients.

Andy is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and New York. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants.  Andy has also received the Certified Information Technology Professional (CITP) designation from the AICPA, as well as the Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA) designation from the AICPA and the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants.  He graduated Cum Laude with Bachelor of Science Degrees in accounting and finance from LaSalle University in 1993.
